THRIVE is a dynamic performance platform dedicated exclusively to dance created and performed by adults. Showcasing a vibrant mix of live stage performances and dance films, THRIVE comes to life at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.

Presented by Cascade Dance, this event offers a valuable opportunity for adult dancers to present their work, connect with audiences, and elevate the presence of dance within the broader community.

THRIVE 2026

Thrive is a community performance opportunity for adult dancers and we are delighted to return to The Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells, Kent on Sunday 26th April 2026. We welcome all groups, genres and all ages, celebrating the wonder and power of dance performance!

THRIVE 2024

THRIVE Dance Platform made its vibrant return to Trinity Theatre in 2024, lighting up the stage on Saturday 13th July as part of the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival. The event featured over 80 dancers, aged 18 to 85, showcasing a powerful celebration of dance in all its forms. From contemporary to classical, and everything in between, THRIVE embraced diversity in genre, ability, and age.

The platform brought together a wide spectrum of the dance community, including Encore East—an Ipswich-based company of mature dancers—and the Cascade Adult Collective, a local Tunbridge Wells company for adult performers.

THRIVE 2022

Our first platform presented work from both local and regional artists and dancers aged 18 - 83! The event was held at Trinity Theatre, working closely to raise the profile of dance within the community and to support and recognise local dancers and choreographers. 

2022 Artists included: Instep Dance (Boomerang), Cascade Adult Collective, Loop Dance Company ( DASP Program),Dance On, EncoreEast SoloDonne, DamnItDance (Moving Memory), Canterbury Christ University (MCDC),Slyvera Dance, Sidonie Carey Green (Dance for Camera)
