Competition Team

The Cascade Team performs and competes across the South East, training weekly on Wednesday evenings in Sevenoaks. Dancers explore a range of styles including Jazz and Contemporary, and compete in solos, duos, trios, and group routines. The team welcomes dancers ages 8 +

Dancers are placed into three teams based on age and ability. The Competition Team attends 4–6 local and regional events each year, so commitment to weekly rehearsals and weekend competitions is essential.

Interested in joining? Auditions involve taking part in a class and learning choreography. Previous dance training and class experience are required.

5.10 - 5.40 - Warm Up/Prep Class ( Team Zero & 1)

5.40 - 6.10 - Team Zero

6.10 - 7.10 - Team 1

7.10 - 9.00 - Team 2

9.00 - 9.20 - Team 3

5.00 - 8.00 - Private Lessons

Requirements

Dancers must attend two additional Cascade classes each week to support their training (at any location). Thursday evening training in Sevenoaks (4:30–7:00pm) is the main session for competition team dancers, covering Ballet, Contemporary, and Acro.

A signed code of conduct (parent and student) is required, along with full commitment to rehearsals and all competition dates. Successful dancers must commit to a minimum of one year (three terms) and cannot be part of another competition team.

Please note: we do not accept new dancers aged 17+.

✨ Fees & Dates

Fees based on £12.00 per training session (paid termly)

Additional fees for private lessons, competition entry and costumes are paid separately.
